The origins of the Minor date back to 1941, primarily to have new products available once the War was over. Projects were developed and shelved until finally, the Morris Minor made its debut at the Earls Court Motor Show in 1948.
In many ways this car was the brainchild of the legendary Alec Issigonis, who would later develop the even more iconic Mini. Over the next 24 years, more than 1.6 million were manufactured in three defined series, the MM (1948 to 1953), the Series II (1952 to 1956), and the 1000 series (1956 to 1971).
Our beautifully detailed Old English White convertible is one of the 1000 series and was manufactured in 1970.
